Rheinfurs Chat Guidelines
In a chat room with a large number of different personalities, civilized interaction is the be-all and end-all for a
functioning community!
Down below we provide you with our chat guidelines in a short and concise way:
§1 - No Spam
Try to participate in the chat when you have something to contribute to the conversation and avoid sending unnecessary or repetitive content.
We love creative stickers – but please don't go overboard. Several stickers in a row without accompanying text disrupt the flow of conversation. Feel free to use stickers to respond or lighten the mood, but remember: this chat thrives on real conversations!
§2 - No unauthorized advertisements
This includes any mention and promotion of organizations, people or channels, in the form of text, links, images or audio, which promote
and/or draw attention to that institution/individual or platform. This also applies if there is no intention of advertising.
Exceptions apply to advertising posts that have been agreed upon with the Rheinfurs e.V. staff.
§3 - No insults of any kind
This includes both offensive and passive insults towards chat members and people outside the chat. Slander is also
prohibited.
§4 - No NSFW content
All RheinFurs chat rooms are, unless explicitly marked otherwise,
Safe-For-Work. Any kind of adult content is strictly prohibited. (This does not include the use of SFW stickers from a
NSFW sticker pack. Anyone viewing the contents of a sticker pack must assume that the pack also contains NSFW content).
§5 - Avoid private conversations
Make sure that conversations remain relevant for the whole group. Should
a private conversation arise between you and a fellow member, consider moving the conversation to a private chat.
§6 - Protect your privacy
Never disclose your private data. Use your alias as much as possible.
Note that RheinFurs staff will never ask you to share your personal data via chat.
§7 - Watch your language
Avoid writing in CAPITAL LETTERS and try to keep spelling and grammatical errors to a minimum.
Pay attention to your phrasing, could it be misunderstood by others?
Also pay attention to how you send messages. Is a voice message really necessary? Do 10 pictures have to be attached for an explanation?
§8 - Watch your activeness
A high level of activity in the chat is good, but less is more! Make sure that your activity does not get out of hand and that you are not
the only one posting content to the group. Give others the chance to participate in the chat and above all:
Do not be a drama queen!
§9 - Respect the privacy of others
You may not, under any circumstances, store or share the content and private information of others without their permission. Neither in our, nor in other
chat groups.
§10 - Preserve the right to images and sound
If you post other people's public content in our chat groups, always make sure to provide a source. Do not pass off content as your own if it is not or
only partially yours! Other chat participants will find out sooner or later and it may create an unpleasant atmosphere in the chat.
§11 - Ban on zoophilia
The discussion, promotion or display of zoophilic content is strictly prohibited. Any posts that violate this rule, will be removed immediately and the members
involved will be subject to appropriate action by the moderators.
§12 - Ban on political extremism
It is prohibited to promote, support or spread political extremism in any direction. The moderators will decide when content is considered extremist. Discussions
on political topics are allowed as long as they are respectful and constructive. Any extremist comments that promote hatred, violence or discrimination will not
be tolerated and will result in immediate consequences.
§13 - Ban on unlawful and anti-constitutional trivialization
The trivialization, defense or advocacy of unlawful or, in particular, anti-constitutional actions and views is strictly prohibited. Chat members who violate
this rule will be excluded from our events and removed from the chat group. We highly emphasize compliance with legal regulations and the protection of
democratic principles. Any attempts to undermine these principles will not be tolerated and may result in legal consequences.
§14 - Protection of minors
To protect our underage group members, discussions about cannabis, alcohol, other drugs, and adult consumer goods are not welcome.
§15 - Nicknames and avatars
Nicknames and avatars must not contain offensive, pornographic, racist, or otherwise illegal content.
In particular, names or parts of names that violate applicable law, are trademarked or are otherwise unlawful are not permitted.
§16 - Multi-group posts
The forwarding of identical messages to multiple groups (“multi-group posts”) is not welcome here. We value individual,
creative contributions that are relevant to the respective group—such messages are much better received and promote conversation.
§17 - AI-generated content is not welcome
Artists—including illustrators, photographers, videographers, and graphic designers—are an essential part of the furry fandom.
To protect and promote their work, any media (images, videos, audio) created with generative AI is not permitted in this chat.
Such posts will be removed by the moderation team immediately, without prior notice.
Violations of one or more of the listed rules can lead to exclusion from the chat group or even from the community. In serious cases, exclusion from all RheinFurs events may also be possible!
Please note:
Rule changes can come into effect at any time and without notice. Nevertheless, we try to advertise every rule change in the chat itself. Rules not listed here,
but which arise from the context, do not lose their validity through this listing. In general, it is at the discretion of the RheinFurs staff to reprimand or
punish the behavior of a user. Please send any objections to the decision of a RheinFurs staff member to

or to Robby
